Competency Based Learning is about demonstrating competence against the performance criteria in the units selected. The amount of time you take to achieve competence is not important, nor is the way you learn. Rosie’s School of Rock will organise your program so that you can, asmuch as possible, progress at your own pace.
How Will I Be Assessed ?
Assessments in the TOTAL ROCKSTARprogram will happen progressively. Assessments will also be practical, e.g. producing CDs to demonstrate your production skills or writing and notating a song to demonstrate music reading and writing skills.
Should you find that you are unable to satisfactorily meet the competency requirements you have the opportunity to apply for reassessment.
